Indoor Planters

New Home - New Opportunity to kill plants?!

Ideally, I would like to wean myself off needing to buy Marks & Spencer's roses each week, although the two for £5 offer is pretty brilliant and nothing pleases me more than pale pink and hot pink mixed together antithesis the stems cut short to resemble a ball of roses...

However, I came across this photo in Domino magazine and ever since the idea of a long-living indoor floral planter has been playing in my mind. Will the miniature daisies need much depth? Will they need to spend each day outside? What pot to buy? Could i do the same with a baby's tears or moss trim? Moss and hyacinths? Will an african violet ever stay alive for me? My ideas below...

My Go-To Store India Jane has these lovely ceramic planters for under £50

Or a quite lovely crackle glaze - is it too shallow to actually hold plants? No drainage - so purely decorative.

I'm really very drawn to these duck-egg rough-glazed terracotta planters

Or would silver feel more contemporary?
