Framed Wallpaper Panels

A beautiful way of decorating, without the commitment of papering a room or the expense of large-scale art, is to hang some framed wallpaper panels.

Goddess Martha (Stewart) shows us how: (also note the lovely use of peachy pink that can be easily removed when the 'man of the house' complains, as you know he will):

This reminds me of a Chinese screen my father has.
Although delicious for Chinoiserie it can also be used for a whimsical effect - something I'm sure Christian Lacroix had in mind when he designed his Paris range of fabric:

Monsieur Lacroix is never one for minimalism and this fabric would look amazing set between mouldings of a dressing room... *if only I had happier memories of Paris*

I'm not a fan of this overly-countrified wallpaper but I do love a good bit of moulding:

Much food for thought for my dressing room in the new apartment - which is really the one room that I can imagine I will be able to be artistic with and do anything remotely girly...
