Here are some images I have of the new place - and you'll have to excuse my hideous photography, but first the agency paper:
And now some of my very own snapshots with the iPhone, I have no talent at all:
The outside
The entranceway & hallway
That runner has to go!
The lounge (I really wish I had a better photo as it looks awful and small here but is actually quite spacious). It's painted a pale eau-de-nil that I would have chosen myself, the shutters are lovely and let in lots of natural light but have been triple-glazed to reduce noise. The current furniture doesn't do it any favours... But we are so lucky that the lovely woman who has been 'updating' the apartment as a project has super taste, I really like everything she has done with the colours and the fittings - not often the case when you view apartments!
The kitchen - terribly practical and nothing hideous, I don't want to be negative, but I suppose this is the room of the house I am 'least excited by'. Once I put my lovely cream Nespresso CitiZ in and a magimix and a kettle bench space will be at a premium. But it has absolutely everything we need, including a full-size fridge with freezer (almost unimaginable luxury) and a mini dishwasher
The bedroom (yes, we'll get rid of that wall-screen quick smart!)
Lots of storage - you can only see one side, there is another larger inbuilt wardrobe the other side of the bed, leading into the ensuite bathroom. The doors with shutters lead directly onto garden
The bathrooms (2, almost identical) - and a photo showing the mirrored cabinet storage, I shall have to be ruthless!
The garden - Bliss!
The second bedroom - at the moment this is a dining room - it has potential as a dressing room/guest room. What I definitely don't want, and I've seen how easy it is to fall into the trap of this, is have it as a sort of 'junk' room - where everything is stored... It is a good size and also leads directly on to the garden - really looking forward to seeing the restored french dressing table that my father has for me.
